Sliding Sleeve Door

WS offers a large selection of sliding sleeves available in common Otis Profiles. Often ran in conjunction with packers these sleeves can be open or closed using a standard Otis B shifting tool. XA profiles are standard up to open and down to close with XO profiles being the opposite with down to open and up to close.

Right Hand Set Tubing Anchor Catcher

The WS Model WS-RTAC & WS-LTAC tubing anchor catchers are designed to anchor the lower end of the tubing string below a sucker-rod pump, effectively preventing the tubing from corkscrewing under cyclical loading during pump operation. This helps reduce tubing movement, improving pump efficiency and minimizing wear on both the tubing and rods. The anchor catcher can also be used in any single-string application where a bottom-hole non-sealing anchor is required. Additionally, the double-grip slip design ensures that parted tubing is securely caught, preventing it from falling to the well bottom.

    Features And Benefits

    • Simple Operation:
      • WS-LTAC: Left rotation to set the catcher, right rotation to release.
      • WS-RTAC: Right rotation to set the catcher, left rotation to release. Both designs offer easy operation on the rig.
    • Double-Grip Slip Design: Securely anchors the tubing, preventing both upward and downward movement, which:
      • Increases pump efficiency by extending the stroke.
      • Reduces operating costs by minimizing maintenance and downtime due to tubing and sucker-rod wear.
    • Parted Tubing Prevention: The double-grip slip catches parted tubing, reducing the need for costly fishing operations.
    • Full Bore-Through Design: Provides a clear passage for wireline tools and other equipment, maintaining well accessibility.
    • Straight-Pull Emergency Shear Release: The shear release mechanism allows for release-force adjustment using shear pins if the catcher cannot be retrieved through normal operations.
    • Easy Maintenance: With fewer parts to disassemble, the catcher is cost-effective and simple to redress when necessary.

      Applications

      • Sucker-Rod Pumping Applications: Ideal for anchoring tubing in sucker-rod pumping systems.
      • Single-String, Non-Sealing Anchored Completions: Suitable for any completion requiring a bottom-hole anchor without sealing capabilities

        P-AF Top No-go Landing Nipple

The WS, P-AF Top No-Go Seating Nipple provides for the location of various wireline flow control devices in the production string. The nipple’s no-go shoulder is used to help locate and set the Lock, but it is unloaded once the setting operation is completed.

          Hydraulic Setting Tool

The WS Model WS-HSHK Hydraulic Setting Tool is a single-chamber, tubing pressure-actuated tool designed for use in gravel pack operations. It is specifically used in conjunction with the Gravel Pack Crossover Tool or Hydro-Set Adapter Kit to run and set WS-ERSP Packers and Drillable-type Production Packers on tubing. This tool provides reliable performance for setting packers in both vertical and deviated wells.

          Features And Benefits

          • Short and Compact Design: Enhances handling, shipping, and storage efficiency, as well as simplifying rig operations.
          • Simple Construction: Built with a minimal number of working parts, reducing maintenance costs and increasing reliability.
          • No Rotation Required: The tool releases from the packer using annulus pressure, eliminating the need for rotation during operation.
          • Ideal for Deviated Wells: Optimized for use in challenging wellbore conditions, including highly deviated or horizontal wells.
          • Emergency Rotational Release: Provides a built-in emergency release feature for situations requiring rotational release of the packer.

          Advantages

          • Accommodates Tubing Expansion and Contraction: The tool is designed to handle changes in tubing length during pressure fluctuations without compromising its functionality.
          • Replaceable Seals: Seals can be easily removed and replaced without having to unset the packer, streamlining maintenance and reducing downtime.
          • Largest Possible ID Through Completion: The tool design ensures maximum flow capacity by maintaining the largest possible internal diameter (ID) through the completion.
          • Seals Fully Protected During Run-in: The tool’s seal unit configuration protects the seals during deployment, ensuring they remain intact and functional until set.
          • Reduces Risk of Hydrostatic Lock: The seal unit configuration is specifically designed to reduce the risk of hydrostatic lock, ensuring smooth operation even in challenging well conditions.
          • Custom Length Options: The tool is available in custom lengths to meet specific operational needs.

          ‘P-X’ & ‘P-XN’ Landing Nipple

The ‘P-X’ & ‘P-XN’ Landing Nipple is a downhole component, fabricated as a short section of heavy wall tubular with a machined internal surface that provides a seal area and a locking profile.

The Landing Nipples are included in most completions at predetermined intervals to enable the installation of flow-control devices, such as Plugs and Chokes. Three basic types of Landing Nipples are commonly used: No-Go, Selective and Ported Safety Valve Nipples.
